Meet David J. Hobin, Dharma's Construction Manager. He brings 25 years of experience from building custom homes to the role as Custom Homes Project Manager. In a recent interview, he shares his thoughts with us.

What are you passionate about?

Developing - Building quality homes in a pleasing location/environment to deserving customers.

What relevant background, education and experience do you bring to your role at Dharma?

Trim carpentry, framing, renovations and building quality custom homes, home inspections and construction consulting and project management, since 1981.

When did you start working with Dharma and why?

I like their vision and direction.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

Managing the construction side of the company and developing property with attention to the quality and satisfaction of the end customer's desires.

What do you enjoy the least?

Builders who put no heart and soul in the vision of their projects…they just want the return on investment but don’t really care in providing customers with the quality they deserve.

What do you consider your biggest achievement so far with respect to Dharma?

Good question….helping finish an exceptional first townhome project in Stittsville and improving the Dharma construction system for their upcoming green condominium community in Stittsville.

What is your vision for the future?

Continuing to build quality homes with a company that recognizes the need for leadership in green design and construction.

What interests do you have outside of the development business?

Basketball, snowboarding, golf, flying (fixed wing), motorcycling, horses and of course my family.
